Additional information
This research investigated the possibility of processing very weak biosignals generated by plants or human organs. For example, detecting thermal stress or hydration levels could lead to more efficient irrigation policies hence conserving water in arid conditions. This research has extensions to the detection of very weak signals in humans, e.g. for use in robotic prosthetics. It was an interdisciplinary research program that brought together researchers from diverse backgrounds and different institutions.
