Additional information

<28> Published in the top-rated jounral in Neurology (h-index of 197; impact factor 4.09), this paper provides new understanding of human brain functional responses at reduced oxygen availability (hypoxic hypoxia). Pu’s role was to develop new mathematical models and computer simulations to verify the discoveries in the experiments. The simulation results provided critical support to the validation of the experiment results. The work was first presented in ISMRM 2009, the largest and the best international conference in MRI with a double blind selection process of 5 referees per paper.
