Additional information
This is one of a series of over 20 papers which I have co-authored on bit-serial optical computing. In previous work results of memory function have been limited to particular operating points and powers. The paper demonstrates for the first time a novel configuration in which periodic inversion of the memory contents is eliminated. In this paper the first extensive scan of performance as a function of several system variables was performed. In recognition of the international lead this work holds, I was invited to speak at EDIS2011 in Osaka, Japan.
