Additional information

In this paper we have demonstrated for the first time that the melt conditioned twin roll casting (MC-TRC) process is capable of producign high quality Al-alloy strip with increased Fe contents. This provides firm evidence that the MC-TRC process is an effective technique for recycling Al-scrap. This work is highly relevant to the automotive industry for reducing CO2 emissions.
