<22> The novel approach presents a new methodology for space utilisation while practical constraints are considered. With enhanced performance verified using benchmark data, it has been trialled using real-world data from a cargo company in China. The work is on-going to further explore commercial applications and benefits from the research, including cutting and packing. Applying and extending the work, the authors have been in collaboration with several large firms in China, and encouraging outcomes expected.
