Additional information

<27> This paper is the second of a series focusing on the geometric representation of wave polarization. It represents the first step in laying the theoretical framework of geometric polarimetry for general bistatic radar configurations and impacts the IEEE Standards Definition of Terms for Antennas. The seminal work was carried out within the framework of the EU-FP4 Training and Mobility of Researcher Network “Radar Polarimetry: theory and applications” which led to the EU-FP5 Research Training Network “AMPER” and support from the US Office of Naval Research.
