Additional information

This work proposes a new data driven-based framework for induction motor fault diagnosis using the current signal during start-up. The propsed framework consists of sequential stages for signal processing, feature representation and reduction, and classification. The single-frequency components in the transient signal are isolated based on the Fourier-Bessel expansion so that the components characterizing the fault patterns accurately are chosen.
