The concept of “one-bit processing” is known in digital signal processing but is also relevant for Control Systems. This paper is the first publication describing its application for control processors, providing a scientific exposition of the issues and presenting an FPGA implementation. One of the reviewers observed “The paper presents a very useful alternative approach/architecture for the control implementation.”
