Additional information

The proposed rolling resistance model and the classification and testing of the common models are referenced by the major DEM codes (e.g. EDEM commercial code: VP: Richard LaRoche DEM-solutions; LIGGGHTS code: Christoph Kloss, CFdem) and other DEM researchers worldwide: (e.g. HongKong, DoI:10.1016/j.powtec.2013.02.003; Austria, DoI:10.1016/j.partic.2012.05.002; China, DoI:10.1016/j.powtec.2012.09.032; Australia, DoI:/10.1016/j.powtec.2011.10.057). The outcomes are exploited in a £200k project funded by LKAB Sweden (Kent Tano) and the €4.1M FP7 T-MAPPP Project (Cathy.SOUTO-ENRIQUEZ@ec.europa.eu). It led to invited keynotes at Particulate Processes in Pharmaceutical Industry III Conference, Gold Coast 2011 and Powders and Grains, Sydney 2013. (Industrial contact emails available).
