<25>The algorithms described in this paper form part of a pioneering influential system, PDES-MAS, which has been reviewed as “the most innovative in this field for years”. The algorithms were utilised in the AHRC-funded digital humanities MWGrid project, and in IBM’s co-design for Exascale research as a technique for energy efficient data distribution management for extreme scale analytics.
