Additional information

The research reported in this paper was the first to apply parametric amplification to a commercial MEMS gyroscope, demonstrating that parametric amplification was a viable method of improving the performance of commercial devices. This research led to Gallacher being invited to give a keynote presentation at the 9th International Conference on “Multibody Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics, and Control,” held as part of the ASME 2013 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences.
