Additional information

Work done in the Department as part of a major EU funded project has demonstrated that dewatering membranes can significantly improve the efficiency of thermochemical cycles for hydrogen production. This paper identifies Nafion as a potentially suitable material for this operation and provides directly applicable design data. This includes provision of test data at under realistic temperatures and pressures. Significantly this is the first study to include the presence of iodine in significant concentrations.
