The research into improved services for the urban poor in Lusaka is part of a wider programme supporting improved services in slums. The work led to Cranfield representation on the Governing Board of WSUP (Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor), and to additional direct WSUP contracts with Cranfield for specific tasks (samparker@wsup.com).
