Additional information

This work represents a significant advance for organic electronics – the demonstration, for the first time, of an all-organic flash memory transistor. This has attracted publicity in the key electronics industry journal Electronics Weekly.

The work has resulted in an approach by the Company ‘Cambridge Display Technology’ to undertake a feasibility study into fabricating a flash memory using one of their semiconducting polymers. Contact: Dr Natasha Conway: nconway@cdtltd.co.uk
