<10> This was an extremely significant reference for the success of the £1.5M EPSRC PLanCompS project proposal (EP/I032495/1), since it was the only previous article written together with the two leading PLanCompS investigators at RHUL (Johnstone and Scott), as well as the only published description of how the component-based approach can be applied to both syntax and semantics to provide complete specifications of programming languages.
