Main output from a three year Leverhulme Trust project ‘Cities in Economic Expansion and Current Crisis of the Modern World-System’ (F/00 261/X; £140,000; PI: Taylor). The output led to an invitation to provide a two-day workshop in July 2011 at the Centre for Urban History, Leicester University, attended by participants from Brussels, Edinburgh, Helsinki, Leicester, Loughborough, McMaster, Montreal, Northumbria, Nottingham and Toronto Universities.
