Additional information

The paper is already supporting the development of new generation computer algorithms for biomedical flow simulations. This study helped secure EPSRC funding for "INGENIOUS" grant (EP/I017747/1) devoted to new high-resolution algorithms for multi-space-time flow simulations, as a part of 1.2M Euro international G8 consortium project with Aston University, UK, and collaborators in Japan and Russia. For Dr Karabasov, this work lead to an invited talk at the UK-Japan workshop on high-performance computing hosted by the UK Embassy in Japan and also the Royal Society award for International Kavli Seminar on multiscale flow modelling (2012).
