Landscape and Interaction: The Troodos Archaeological and Environmental Research Project, Cyprus. Volume 2: The TAESP Landscape

Given was one of four co-directors for the fieldwork, specifically responsible for the day-to-day management of the fieldwork, research, personnel and budget. He also had joint responsibility with one other co-director for applying for funding. In the analysis and writing stage, Given was one of five main co-authors (i.e. co-directors plus data analyst). He had overall responsibility for organising the publication process, managing the 35 authors and contributors, editing, overseeing the production of illustrations, obtaining publication support funding, and liaising with the publishers. As well as editing both volumes, he wrote most of the project-wide interpretation and conclusions.
