<20> The visualization technique is the first to apply steerable techniques to large scale graph visualization. Steerability allows the visualization to scale to larger graphs as neither a classification of the nodes nor a drawing of the graph needs to be computed beforehand. This paper is discussed in a survey (T. von Landesberger et al: "Visual Analysis of Large Graphs: State-of-the-Art and Future Research Challenges", Computer Graphics Forum 30(2011)1719-1749) as an intuitive method for large graph visualization.
