Additional information

The first study to assess the predictive value of CMR contrast enhanced imaging in combination with low- and high-dose dobutamine in patients with severe ischaemic cardiomyopathy to assess simultaneously the three key patho-physiological processes of; irreversible myocardial damage, functional recruitment and inducible ischaemia. This data have been integrated into current Clinical Guidelines for standardized diagnostic cardiac imaging in the US and Europe and has led to the planning of large-scale, multi-centre clinical trials. The paper has been published in one of the leading cardiovascular disease journals.
