Additional information

This study measured intra- and inter-observer variability in staging lymphoma with PET/CT and led to the establishment of image training sets that have been used in multi-centre trials, including a 1200 patient European trial (RATHL), assessing FDG-PET in advanced Hodgkin lymphoma with O’Doherty leading the PET component. This research and the training sets developed have reduced the variability in response assessment, which has enabled these important studies to be performed more efficiently (with smaller numbers and reduced costs). This paper is published in one of the two leading journals in nuclear medicine.
