Nanostructural and magnetic studies of virtually monodispersed NiFe2O4 nanocrystals synthesized by a liquid–solid-solution assisted hydrothermal route
We have developed a low cost and simplified method for manufacturing NiFe2O4 nanoparticales which applications such as data storage and magnetic resonance imaging. This is a significant magnetic materials and production cost reduction is critical to the mass adoption of the material for drug delivery systems. We have also published for the first time a method for using converged beam electron diffraction (CBED) which enables detailed spatial morphology and crystal structure in individual particles could be used for other materials. A detailed study of the nano structure is critical for the performance and characteristics of any material.
