<24>This work, arising from a short Visiting Fellowship held at the University of Hong Kong, is a careful derivation of a fundamental asymptotic property of rank correlations. This is a theoretical result necessary to be able to design learning theory bounds of ranking algorithms, applicable in information retrieval and recommender systems.
