Significance of output:
<15>Open Educational Resources were a new topic at the time of this paper and this was one of the first quality journal issues to address OER, an area that has since developed into MOOCs, and attracted significant national attention and funding. The paper contains both quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the results of early deployments, and an analysis focused on success factors. This work has collected around £1M total funding, and the EdShare system is a core part of Southampton's digital environment, and is also used by around ten other organisations.
