Significance of output:

<15>This is a significant new distributed multi-agent architecture for sharing and analysing brain MRI scans. Several hospitals in different European countries were involved in the HealthAgents EU Project.

The software was tested operating across a number of hospital sites and conformed to the stringent requirements of medical systems. Exploitation of the system continued after the project including a further hospital outside Europe becoming a user (Jiangsu Province Hospital, Nanjing). Facilitated research on some types brain tumour diagnosis not possible without cross site collaboration.
