Significance of output:
<16>One of the first papers to describe a distributed architecture for the triple stores that form the basis of the Semantic Web. It builds on the work we did in the Microsocm hypermedia system in the 1990's and applies this to the architecture of the Semantic Web. The work has been picked up by a number of triple store developers (both open source and commercial) Hall and DeRoure were PhD supervisors of PhD student lead author.
