Additional information

<10>This paper builds on the approach initiated in ICALP 2012 paper, modelling the issues of passive (or read-only) computations. It is the first extensional model that is able to model passivity, obtaining accuracy for all first-order types of Idealized Algol. The paper was presented in a session chaired by Dana Scott honouring the memory of John Reynolds, whose approach it builds on. Scott later wrote, "I was particularly glad that Uday Reddy put Reynolds work in a proper perspective with respect to the earlier work of Strachey."
