Additional information

<13>This is the first paper to apply the ideas and methods of Scott's domain theory to the foundations of evolutionary computation. Scott's interpretation of information gain as an order-theoretic and topological limit is used to explain the long-time behaviour of co-evolutionary search algorithms. Besides offering a novel conceptual framework to researchers in evolutionary optimisation, it also contains new domain-theoretic constructions.
