This paper describes how it is possible to synthesise large-scale graphene films that retain excellent optical, electrical, and mechanical properties for stretchable transparent electrodes.

This work was reported in Nature News (Nature 467, 642 (2010)), and led to a spin-off company, “Graphene Square” (www.graphenesq.com) and a Sungkyunkwan University-Samsung joint centre for research in Graphene (contact details available).
