Compact second-order highly linear varactor-tuned dual-mode filters with constant bandwidth
<01>Originality: The paper provides solutions for miniaturisation and performance improvement of varactor-tuned dual-mode planar filter structures and demonstrates the advantages of employing proposed highly linear tunable filters for multi band multi standard 3G and 4G mobile wireless communication systems.
Significance: Since tunable filters are widely used in 3G and 4G mobile wireless applications this paper contributes towards improved cost effectiveness of these industries
Rigour: Theoretical analyses were used to develop the designed procedure. This was followed by simulations and measurements made on a fabricated design. The paper was published in a prestigious peer reviewed journal.
