George Frideric Handel: collected documents: volume 1 1609-1725

I was the Principal Investigator for the AHRC project which led to the publication of these volumes. This has entailed (with co-editors) collecting and transcribing seventeenth- and eighteenth-century texts (in English and other languages), editing translations, and researching and writing contextual commentaries. I have been intimately involved in all stages of the design of the book and its content and have liaised with the publisher. My primary role has been to utilise my wider knowledge of Handel’s life and works when editing the material.
