Output-associative RVM regression for dimensional and continuous emotion prediction
Introduced the first work on dimensional and continuous emotion prediction from visual signals within a novel regression framework that learns non-linear input-output dependencies among features and emotion dimensions, by building upon our highly influential IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing paper (doi: 10.1109/T-AFFC.2011.9) that pioneered the research stream in continuous emotion prediction and assessment. Won Outstanding Paper Award (http://www.cs.ucsb.edu/~mturk/FG2011/fg.php?page=home) at IEEE Int'l Conference on Automatic Face & Gesture Recognition (IEEE FG'11), was invited for Image & Vision Computing Journal Special Issue on Best of IEEE FG'11, and contributed to the awarding of the EPSRC First Grant (Grant Ref: EP/K017500/1).
