It draws on more than 300 interviews conducted in eight cities, consultation of seven archives, and exhaustive scrutiny of prirmary and secondary documentation. The title should not obscure the project's scope: its breadth and depth are intended to set a new standard for the study of Europeanization. The book examines EU action over six decades in all aviation sub-sectors. It details changes in the global regime, presents four major country case-studies, and assesses both the domestic and the international impact of EU intervention.
