Crystallization of amorphous lactose at high humidity studied by terahertz time domain spectroscopy
Recent seminal work demonstrating special capacity THz time-domain spectrometric methods to observe, in real time, the mechanics of solid-phase crystallisation processes. Work resulted in immediate invite to present to a Royal Society of Chemistry meeting 'Recent Advances in Spectroscopy at Terahertz Frequencies' (Brian Woodget bwoodget1@sky.com) and collaboration with Tian Kun (tian.kun@dent.semmelweis-univ.hu), Materials Science Research Institute Semmelweis Medical University via Chass (Reader, QM School Biological and Chemical Sciences), applying THz-TDS for seminal study of glass-transition dynamics in bio-cements for dental applications.
