Additional information
In this work we show for the first time how a membrane-based oxyfuel process can be integrated with carbon dioxide utilisation chemistry. Carbon dioxide is captured in the membrane system and fed to an epoxidation reactor where it reacts with an epoxide to form a cyclic carbonate in an exothermic reaction. This work has been highlighted in 'Highlights in Chemical Technology', http://www.rsc.org/Publishing/ChemTech/Volume/2010/02/minimise_co2.asp (accessed 25 July 2011).
