Additional information

This paper demonstrated how bond graph modelling could be applied to complex networks of components in small devices in order to extract the system equations for sensitivity analysis. The method provides an efficient approach to uncertainty analysis that applies to multiphysics domains. This research on Micro-scale Robust Engineering Design, including paper 1, was funded by EPSRC (GR/S63496/01 and 02) and was given a very high rating (‘Tending to Outstanding’).
