Additional information

In this paper high intensity ultrasonic irradiation was used to disperse Sn-rich liquid droplets in an Al-rich liquid hoping to produce a finely and uniformly distributed Sn-rich phase in an Al-matrix after solidification. Although we have demonstrated that ultrasonic treatment is much better for this purpose than the conventional casting process, we only achieved partial distribution of the Sn-rich phase.
