I contributed significantly to this work, which provides a classical explanation of the fragmentation of the external ring in the indirect exciton emission pattern. I supervised PhD student Wilkes who did the calculations, helped him to develop a suitable theoretical model and efficient numerical algorithms, and co-wrote the paper.
