<23> Removing dynamic objects from videos is one of the most common and time-consuming visual effects tasks, often taking days of effort. We present the first automatic video inpainting algorithm to produce production quality results for HD videos. We solve the difficulties caused by perspective changes from a moving camera by borrowing contents visible in other parts of the video and compositing them in a new global energy minimization framework. Published at ECCV - one of three premier venues for computer vision (acceptance rate: 408/1437).
