Additional information

<22> Originality: Technical paper describing the integration approach to incorporating intelligent systems into virtual worlds meeting spaces. The approach is a practical exemplar of a variety of advanced knowledge-based systems being used in a virtual world.

Significance: Description of the architectural approach, and ways to isolate the interface from heavy dependencies on the platforms used. The approach can be used to provide access to significant intelligent system capabilities made available outside of the specific collaboration and virtual worlds platforms used.

Rigour: The paper describes the architecture involved. Pointers to applied work and evaluations of the resulting I-Rooms are provided.
