<22>Originality: Challenging, novel approach to integrating technical tools to assist emergency response to large building fires.

Significance: The main joint team publication about a significant project involving a number of different partners and technologies. Tate led the work element involved with production of the main command, control, communications and intelligence (C3I) interface and high performance computing analyses to allow an integrated picture for a number of fire analysis and response systems. Challenging demonstration of the potential of high level views onto highly technical and dynamic data.

Rigour: Evaluated with BRE in laboratory, fire test rig and real tower block fire.
