<22> Originality: I-Room is a unique combination of advanced intelligent systems and collaboration technologies.

Significance: A paper describing a significant body of work on intelligent systems and collaboration tools combined into web and virtual worlds facilities to support team interaction, along with details of three real applications and evaluations of the capabilities performed with companies who were involved in the applied research elements. I-Rooms are in productive use, and act as exemplars for how such tools and methods can be made available to a wide range of application areas.

Rigour: I-Rooms have been evaluated and compared to other collaboration tools.
