Additional information

This work was an international collaboration led by Soleimani with researchers in Poland and Canada. The paper reports the first 4D reconstruction of a moving object in electrical tomography. This can significantly enhance this imaging technique as a multi-phase flow monitoring device. The work led to an invitation to be a partner in DENIDIA, an EU networking project, and subsequently a six-month research postdoc secondment was awarded from DENIDIA. A four years collaborative project with CERN has been established to study motion correction tomography (CERN project KM2223) based on this work.
