Additional information

This work is the first major volume to emerge from the More Old Testament Pseudepigrapha Project, funded by a substantial Leverhulme research grant. It offers a new collection of scholarly translations of and introductions to non-canonical biblical texts. 29 international specialists translated around 50 texts in 10 ancient languages; translations of 3 texts had appeared elsewhere, but 2 of these 3 were completely revised and annotated here, and all of the other contributions were newly commissioned. Professor Davila was principal investigator for the project, and responsible for all of the final editing of the volume.
