Additional information

The influences of Lewis number on the scalar gradient alignment with local principal strain rates in turbulent premixed flames have been demonstrated and explained for the first time in this paper. This development plays a pivotal role in the modelling of hydrogen/hydrogen-blended combustion, which is expected to play a key role as an alternative fuel in automotive and aeronautical applications in the future.
