Additional information

The novelty of this work is the integration of observations of total electron content based on GPS measurements and ground-to-ground HF measurements. This will enable measurements from a network of GPS receivers to be assimilated into our high-latitude HF propagation model, which is important to our wider project of forecasting HF propagation for the aviation industry. Continuation of this project is funded by EPSRC (grant number EP/K008781/1 value; £347,135)
