Rizvi's involvement was central in this meta-analysis combining published H1 and ZEUS structure function measurements. The combination procedure adopted relies entirely on a highly detailed understanding of the experimental systematic uncertainties of the measurements, and of their correlations between the two experiments. He was directly involved in the publication of seven of the nine H1 measurements used in this combination and therefore provided essential input in the final treatment of these uncertainties. Rizvi also helped in the evaluation of the statistical treatment of the combination procedure and interpretation of the QCD fits.
