Meikle co-authored with Sherman Young the book Media Convergence: Networked Digital Media in Everyday Life, which has eight chapters plus an introduction and conclusion. The authors co-wrote Chapters 1 and 2, and the book’s introduction and conclusion. Meikle led on and wrote the majority of each of Chapters 3, 5, 6 and 7. Young led on Chapters 4 and 8, to which Meikle contributed approximately 20% in each case (the ‘mash-up’ section of Chapter 4 and the ‘creative industries’ section of Chapter 8, respectively).
