Development and optimization of a method for analyzing biodiesel mixtures with non-aqueous reversed phase liquid chromatography
This paper presented a new chromatographic method for biodiesel analysis during trans-esterification, solving the common drawbacks of current methods while being cheaper and easier to implement on-line. This work was supported by the Italian Ministry of Environment and by Marche Region within the project “Ricerche energetico-ambientali per l’AERCA di Ancona, Falconara e bassa valle dell’Esino”, €100k. This method is currently used by laboratories in: China, DoI:10.1016/j.biortech.2009.08.089; and USA, DoI:10.1007/s00216-012-6094-4. It is also being extended by researchers in: Czech Republic, DoI:10.1002/jssc.201200967 and DoI:10.1016/j.talanta.2010.04.035; USA, DoI:10.1021/ef1009082; and Italy, DoI:10.1016/j.chroma.2009.10.066.
