The work reported here contributed to the winning of € 7.8M funding for the European Network of Excellence, AMICOM : “Advanced MEMS for RF and Millimeter Wave Communications" (including IMEC, Leuven and XLIM, Limoges). That project enabled integration of the filter into a prototype front-end receiver ( Palego, et al “A Dual Band MEMS Reconfigurable Filter for a Multi-Standard Radio Front-End”, Proc. European Microwave Conference, pp. 587-590, October 2008). The work is referred to extensively by Lucyszyn ( Imperial ) in his book “Advanced RF MEMS” Cambridge University Press, 2010.
